What does it mean if the pressure gauge reads in the yellow zone?
A yellow zone reading on the pressure gauge indicates that the sand filter media is becoming clogged with dirt and it is time to backwash the filter. Backwashing will remove accumulated dirt from the sand media and restore proper flow.
