How do I brew a carafe of coffee with my K-Duo?

Fill the water reservoir to the MAX fill line, lift the filter basket cover and insert a 12-cup paper filter, then add the desired amount of ground coffee (1 tablespoon per cup recommended, with a maximum of 15 tablespoons for regular or 12 for decaf). Make sure the carafe is on the heating plate, press POWER, select CARAFE, choose your brew size, and press the brew button. The heating plate will automatically stay on for 2 hours after brewing is complete. (Page 3)
