What do I do if the descaling solution causes foam or low output?
Foam dispensed from the coffee maker during descaling is natural as the solution reacts with scale inside. If the coffee maker does not fill properly and you see only small or no output followed by air blowing sounds, turn off and unplug the coffee maker. Discard the descaling solution from the water reservoir, rinse thoroughly, refill with water, and repeat the Step 3 Fresh Water Rinse cycle. If the problem persists, allow the coffee maker to sit unplugged for at least 30 minutes before continuing. (Page 5)
