How do I activate the Express Freezing function and what does it do?

Press the EXPRESS FRZ. button once to activate the Express Freezing function, and the EXPRESS FRZ. icon on the display panel will illuminate. This function runs the freezer compartment at the coldest setting for a 24-hour period, increasing icemaking by up to about 20%, and then turns off automatically.
