How do I use the Sanitize option, and how do I know if sanitizing was successful?

Select the Sanitize option when running the Heavy, Normal, Light, or Auto Clean Plus cycle; it raises the water temperature in the final rinse to approximately 154°F (68°C) per NSF/ANSI Standard 184. When the cycle finishes successfully, the Sanitized indicator will glow. If the sanitized light is blinking, the load was NOT sanitized — the cycle may have been interrupted or the water heater may be set too low; set it to 120°F (49°C). (Pages 6, 10)
