What type and size of batteries does the remote control use?

The remote control uses 2 type AAA-1.5V batteries. To replace them, slide the battery door on the back-bottom of the remote control in the direction shown by the arrow, insert the new batteries making sure the + and - ends line up correctly, then reposition and slide the door back until it clicks. Remove the batteries if you are not using the remote control for a long time. (Page 5)
