How do I cancel or stop a cycle on my Whirlpool dishwasher?
To cancel a cycle, turn the Cycle Control knob slowly clockwise until you hear water draining, then let the dishwasher drain completely. Open the door and turn the Cycle Control knob to OFF. You can also stop the dishwasher at any time by opening the door slightly and waiting for the spraying action to stop. (Page 14)
