What water temperature should I use for best dishwashing results?

Water should be 120°F (49°C) as it enters the dishwasher for best dishwashing results. Loads may not wash as well if the water temperature is too low, and water that is too hot can make some soils harder to remove. If your water heater is far from the dishwasher, run hot water at the nearest faucet first to clear cold water from the line. (Page 13)
