How do I clean the pump guard on the DU7200XS?

Wait at least 20 minutes after a cycle for the heating element to cool down, then unload and remove the bottom rack. Press the outside wall of the pump guard at the center to release the latch, then lift it out and rinse clean. To replace it, insert the pump guard legs into the matching openings in the filter screen and press down until the latch snaps into place.
