How do I lock the controls to prevent unintended changes during a cycle?

Press and hold the CONTROLS LOCK/UNLOCK button for 3 seconds after the cycle starts or when the washer is turned off to lock the controls. When locked, the status light next to the button will glow and all buttons are disabled except for PAUSE/CANCEL and START. To unlock the controls, press and hold CONTROLS LOCK/UNLOCK again for 3 seconds until the status light turns off. (Page 15)
