What electrical requirements does the Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer need?
The washer requires a 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15- or 20-amp fused electrical supply, and a time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended. It must be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet; do not use an extension cord, an adapter, or remove the ground prong. A separate circuit serving only this appliance is recommended. (Page 7)
