Why are my clothes taking too long to dry?

The most common causes of long drying times include a clogged lint screen, a blocked or too-long exhaust vent, an oversized load, or the dryer being located in a room below 45°F (7°C). Check that the exhaust vent uses 4" (102 mm) diameter heavy rigid material and is not crushed, kinked, or excessively long with too many turns. Also ensure only one fabric softener sheet is used per load, as sheets can block the dryer grill. (Page 11)
