Why is my dryer not producing any heat?

For electric dryers, a blown household fuse or tripped circuit breaker is the most common cause — electric dryers use 2 household fuses or circuit breakers, so replace both fuses or reset the circuit breaker. For gas dryers, check that the supply line valve is fully open.
