What should I do if the Check Vent indicator light comes on?

The Check Vent indicator lights up during the sensing phase at the beginning of a cycle if a blocked vent or low airflow issue is detected. The dryer will continue to run while this indicator is lit, but you should clean the lint screen, check that the vent run from the dryer to the wall is not crushed or kinked, confirm the exterior vent exhaust hood is free of lint and debris, and run a Timed Dry heated cycle to retest. If the indicator remains lit, have your entire home venting run professionally cleaned. (Page 17)
