Why is my ice maker not producing ice or producing very little ice?

Several issues could cause this: the refrigerator may not be connected to a water supply, the shutoff valve may not be fully open, there may be a kink in the water source line, or the ice maker wire shutoff arm may be in the OFF position. For new installations, you should wait 24 hours after installation for ice production to begin and 72 hours for full ice production. A reverse osmosis water filtration system connected to your cold water supply can also decrease water pressure and reduce ice production. (Page 10)
