What should I do to clean my refrigerator?

Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect power, hand wash and dry removable parts and interior surfaces with a clean sponge or soft cloth and mild detergent in warm water, wash stainless steel and painted metal exteriors the same way, and do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners such as window sprays, bleaches, or scouring pads. Clean both sections about once a month to prevent odors, and wipe up spills immediately.
