What does the Whirlpool one-year limited warranty cover and what is excluded?

For one year from the date of purchase, Whirlpool will pay for factory specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship when the appliance is used and maintained according to instructions. The warranty does not cover service calls for installation correction, replacement of light bulbs or water filters, damage from accident or misuse, food loss due to product failure, or repairs for units used outside the country of purchase.
