What does the Whirlpool warranty cover and for how long?

Whirlpool provides a One Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase, covering factory specified parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship when the appliance is operated and maintained according to instructions. The warranty does not cover service calls for improper installation, misuse, accident, damage from floods or acts of God, or repairs made outside the country of purchase. (Page 8)
