How do I flush the water system after installation?

Using a sturdy container, depress and hold the water dispenser paddle for 5 seconds, then release for 5 seconds. Repeat this cycle until water begins to flow, then continue the 5-second on/off pattern until a total of 3 gallons (12 L) has been dispensed. Air in the water dispensing system can cause the water dispenser to drip, so flushing is necessary after connecting to a water source or replacing the water filter.
