How often should I replace the water filter and air filter?

Both the water filter and air filter should be replaced every 6 months. The water filter status light will show ORDER FILTER (yellow) when it is almost time to change, and REPLACE FILTER (red) when it must be replaced immediately. If water flow to your dispenser or ice maker decreases noticeably, change the water filter sooner. (Page 16-17)
