Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply, then reconnect after 5 minutes and switch it back on. Within the first 2 minutes after switching on, press and hold the alarm button for 10 seconds until an audible signal sounds to start the self-test. If two audible signals sound at the end and the temperature display shows the set temperature, the appliance is OK; if 5 audible signals sound and the submenu display shows an error code, contact Customer Service.
