26 totalWhat is the correct power supply voltage for the MF1643iF II in the USA versus Europe?
For USA installations, the machine requires 110-127V +/-10%, while EUR/ASIA/Oceania installations require 220-240V +/-10%. The machine should be installed near the power outlet with sufficient space around the power plug so it can be unplugged easily in an emergency. (Page 8)
How heavy is the MF1643iF II and what is the recommended way to move it?
The host machine weighs a maximum of 20 kg including toner cartridges. It is recommended to lift it with 2 or more people, and the machine must be kept level during the move. If the sales company has a standard for handling heavy loads, that standard should be followed. (Page 8)
What precautions should I take when installing the toner cartridge to protect the Photosensitive Drum?
When opening the Cartridge Cover, be sure to remove the cartridge in advance to protect the Photosensitive Drum from light. Cover the Photosensitive Drum with 5 or more sheets of paper to block light, and do not place the cartridge in a location exposed to direct sunlight such as near a window. (Page 24)
Can I install both the MiCARD Attachment Kit-B1 and the Copy Card Reader-F1 at the same time?
No, these two options cannot be used in combination with each other. The MiCARD Attachment Kit-B1 requires a Card Reader as a sales company option but is incompatible with the Copy Card Reader-F1. Similarly, the Copy Card Reader-F1 cannot be used with the MiCARD Attachment Kit or the Copy Control Interface Kit-C1. (Pages 5, 26, 43)
What is the default System Manager ID and PIN for Department ID Management on the MF1643iF II?
The default System Manager ID is 7654321 and the default PIN is also 7654321. These credentials are used when configuring Department ID Management settings after installing the Copy Card Reader. After configuring, you must turn the main power switch OFF and then ON to enable the settings. (Page 68)
How many paper feeders can be stacked on the MF1643iF II, and what is the option called?
You can stack up to 3 Paper Feeder PF-C1 units on the MF1643iF II. This paper feed option provides additional paper capacity through additional cassettes. (Pages 6, 12)
