How do I properly load knives and sharp items in the dishwasher?
Load sharp knives with the handles up to reduce the risk of cut-type injuries. For forks and spoons, place them in the silverware basket with fork and knife handles up to protect your hands, and spoon handles down. Mix knives, forks, and spoons so they do not nest together, and distribute them evenly in the basket. (Pages 7, 15)
