How do I properly store the K Select K80 when not in use?

Empty the water reservoir before storing or transporting the coffee maker, and store it in a safe, frost-free environment in its upright position to avoid water leakage from the inner tank. If stored in a cold environment, water could freeze inside and cause damage. After storage, rinse the water reservoir with fresh water and run three rinsing brews without a K-Cup pod before using.
