What types of items or substances should never be washed in this machine?

Do not wash items contaminated with gasoline, kerosene, benzene, paint thinner, oils, alcohol, or other flammable or explosive substances, as this may result in electric shock, fire, or explosion. Avoid washing waterproof seats, mats, or clothing unless the washer has a special cycle for them, and do not wash throw rugs or doormats with rubber backing. Also, never place objects other than laundry — such as shoes, food waste, or animals — inside the washer. (Pages 5, 7)
