The cooking surface will hold heat and remain hot for up to 25 to 30 minutes after the elements have been turned off. A letter 'H' will appear above the element touch pad as a hot surface indicator, remaining on until the cooking area has cooled to a safe-to-touch temperature. (Page 4)
