To activate Wipe Protection, touch the Panel Lock key while the cooktop is on — an acoustic signal will sound and the control panel will be locked for 35 seconds. You can then clean the surface without accidentally changing any settings. An audible signal sounds at 30 seconds to indicate the function is about to end, and it deactivates automatically after 35 seconds or can be cancelled early by touching the Panel Lock key again.
