How does the residual heat indicator work, and is it safe to touch the cooktop when it is lit?
Bosch Hii8056U Induction Range ·
The residual heat indicator shows when the cooktop surface is still hot after use — display • indicates high temperature and display œ indicates low temperature. Do not touch the cooktop surface while the residual heat indicator is illuminated. The indicator will remain lit even after the cooktop is switched off, until the element has cooled down sufficiently. (Page 15, 24)
