Using a sturdy container, depress and hold the water dispenser pad for 5 seconds, then release it for 5 seconds, and repeat until water begins to flow. Once water flows, continue dispensing in 5-seconds-on, 5-seconds-off intervals until a total of 3 gallons (12 liters) has been dispensed. Additional flushing may be required in some households.
